The Basic Element Properties section is used for editing any Elements, Widgets, Social Media, Containers, Buttons, or Headers & Footers that may be included in the design canvas.

Using the Element Properties:

When an object is selected in the design canvas, Element Properties will automatically be opened on the right-hand side of the design canvas.

The "Basic" tab will always be customized to whatever is selected in the design canvas. For example, the options available when an image is selected are much different than the options available when a button is selected.

In general, there will be text box(es) to adjust the size of the object, whether they be for "Width,” "Height” or both.  Most objects can be linked to other places on the web, email to functionality and click to call functionality. This is done, when available, in the "URL" drop-down box.

Note: For more details, see the page of the specific object you are working with in User Functions.

The different themes available in the "Theme" drop-down box are preset designs that can be quickly selected rather than manually designing them yourself.

The "Border Width" text box allows you to determine the width of the border that surround your selected object (See Advanced for more).

The "Border Color" drop-down box allows you to select the color of the border that surrounds your selected object.

The "Background Color" allows you to determine the color of the backdrop of your area. Note that you may need to create a padding for Images if you want the Background Color to be visible.

Some objects, like User Widgets, give you the option of choosing a background image. Do so in the "Select an Image" drop-down box when available.

By sliding the "Transparency" bar, you can determine how dark or light you want your background color to be (Moving the slider to the right will cause the background to become more opaque).

The "Shadow Color" drop-down box allows you to determine the color of the shadow that may or may not be present on your object (See Advanced for more).

The "Inner Padding" text box allows you to determine the spacing between the content of your object and the border of your object (See Advanced for more).

The "Outer Padding" text box allows you to determine the spacing outside the border of your selected object (See Advanced for more).
