You Tube Video
The “You Tube Video” widget is a tool that you can insert into your pages that allows you to easily incorporate embedded you tube videos to your pages.
To insert a “You Tube Video”:
- Click on the “Widgets” tab located in the “CliqDesign” tool bar.
- The “You Tube Video” widget is located in the right side of the “CliqDesign” toolbar under the “Widgets” tab.
- To insert the “You Tube Video”, simply drag and drop (or click) the “Twitter Feed” icon into the canvas.
Once the “You Tube Video” has been inserted into the canvas, simply click the default YouTube video in the canvas to select it.
Once selected, you will see your customization options appear on the right side of the screen under the “Element Properties” tab.
Simply type (copy paste) the “You Tube URL” of your choice into the textbox to the right of the “YouTube URL” section in the “Element Properties” window.
Note: When pasting URL’s from youtube into this field make sure that the format is as follows “http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=[video_code]” Be sure to remove the “s” from “https://” should the URL you are pasting be coming from a secure page. This simply means that the user was signed into YouTube at the time the URL was copied. The video WILL NOT work in the canvas should the “s” be in the URL.
Other customization options for the “You Tube Video” widget include with and height of the video as well as the width of the video border.
